January 11, 2021

Locals! I'm honored to be co-hosting ZINES FOR TWEENS with Gina, the Children's Librarian at the Dobbs Ferry Public Library. Young patrons of the library are invited to join us for a fun introduction to the art of zines!

Here's all the information for the class with instructions on how to register:⁣

✂ Zines for Tweens ✂⁣
Friday, January 15⁣
3:30 pm - 4:30 pm⁣
Ages 9-12⁣

Have you ever felt like you had a lot to say but nowhere to say it? You should make a zine! Learn how to make one of these reproducible DIY booklets with Ms. Gina, who will also tell you about their roots in counterculture and activism. All you need is a pen and paper, but you can bring magazine cutouts, stickers, and whatever else your heart desires. Please let Ms. Gina know when you register if you need help sourcing materials.

Register with dobchildref@wlsmail.org to get the Zoom link — please indicate the title and date of the program you are registering for! ⁣
